Road Damage Detection

Road Damage Detection identifies road anomalies by analysing anonymised data from connected vehicles gathered from telematics providers. Using advanced sensors and vehicle data,  our AI algorithm accurately classifies and determines the location of damages on the road, such as potholes, cracks, raised / sunken manholes and patches. 

 

Furthermore, this solution, based on our patented Bridgestone Tyre Damage Model, enables evaluation of the severity of each road damage, which is calculated and categorised on a scale of low, medium, and high. The higher the severity, the larger and deeper the road damage, which significantly affects driver comfort and increases the risk of an accident.
